At Shift Happens Motorcycle Rider Training in Denver, we offer motorcycle classes for riders of all levels. Whether you’re new to riding or coming back after a break, our certified instructors will help you build confidence and ride safely.
Our popular Beginner RiderCourse costs $350 and is perfect for new riders. You’ll learn the basics of riding and how to earn your Colorado motorcycle endorsement. The course includes a 5-hour online eCourse plus hands-on riding practice. No experience is needed, and motorcycles are provided.
If you already know how to ride, our One-Day License Waiver Course costs $250, it includes a 4-hour online eCourse followed by hands on instruction. This is a quick and efficient way to get your endorsement. You can bring your own motorcycle and gear—or borrow a bike from us—complete the course and skip the testing at the DMV.

Basic RiderCourse
$350
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic Rider Course (BRC) is the perfect starting point for new riders looking to learn the fundamentals of motorcycle operation and safety. This course combines a 5-hour online course and hands-on riding practice to teach essential skills such as throttle control, braking, turning, and evasive maneuvers. Riders will develop confidence in low-speed handling, shifting, and stopping techniques, all in a controlled, supportive environment.
No prior riding experience is necessary, and motorcycles are provided. Upon successful completion, riders who meet the completion requirements receive a waiver to obtain their Colorado motorcycle endorsement. The BRC is designed to set a strong foundation for safe and responsible motorcycling, making it the ideal first step for anyone ready to hit the road.
BRC2 License Waiver Course
$250
The BRC2 License Waiver Course is a one-day, hands-on motorcycle training program designed for riders with some riding experience. This course allows you to bypass the DMV riding skills test by completing professional instruction with certified coaches. You’ll practice essential riding skills like maneuvering, braking, and safe control in a supportive environment. Bring your own motorcycle and gear—or borrow one from us—to complete the course and earn your Colorado motorcycle endorsement faster.
Private Training
$50 per hour

Whether you're a beginner looking for extra guidance, an experienced rider refining advanced techniques, or someone needing focused preparation for a license test, our expert instructors tailor each session to your specific goals. Private training allows for flexible scheduling, customized instruction, and a relaxed pace that suits your learning style.
