Private training is scheduled case-by-case. Submit a request and we'll contact you to discuss your experience, goals, and availability.
Is Private Motorcycle Training Right for You?
Private training may be a good fit if you:
Want one-on-one attention from a RiderCoach
Need help developing or improving a specific riding skill
Want additional practice before or after a motorcycle course
Want to improve clutch and throttle control, braking, cornering, swerving, or low-speed maneuvering
Prefer individualized coaching for a particular riding challenge
Every session is tailored to where your skills are now and what you want to accomplish.
Sometimes a Class Is the Better Choice
Private training isn't automatically the best option simply because it's one-on-one.
If you're a new rider, have very limited motorcycle experience, or haven't ridden in several years, we will generally recommend one of our structured motorcycle courses instead.
Why?
Motorcycle riding is a combination of skills that build on one another.
A structured course gives you hours of progressive training, beginning with fundamental motorcycle control and building toward braking, shifting, turning, cornering, swerving, low-speed control, and riding strategies.
For $400, our 2-Day Beginner Rider Course provides substantially more training time than the same investment in four hours of private instruction.
It also includes:
✓ Two days of structured, progressive motorcycle training
✓ Motorcycle and helmet provided
✓ Required MSF eCourse
✓ MSF-certified RiderCoaches
✓ Written and riding skills evaluations
✓ Opportunity to earn your Colorado Motorcycle License Waiver upon successful completion
If you haven't ridden in years, rebuilding the fundamentals is more valuable than trying to squeeze a refresher into an hour or two.
Our goal is to recommend the training that gives you the best opportunity to develop safe, capable riding skills—not simply the most expensive option.
What Can We Work On Privately?
Depending on your current ability and goals, private training can focus on:
Clutch and throttle control
Starting and stopping
Shifting
Braking and emergency stopping
Turning and cornering
Low-speed motorcycle control
Swerving and obstacle avoidance
Additional practice after a motorcycle course
Preparation for more advanced training
Specific riding challenges you want to improve
You'll receive immediate feedback and concentrated practice on the skills that brought you to us.
Why Is Private Training Request-Based?
Every rider requesting private training has a different goal.
Before scheduling, we want to understand your current riding ability, experience, and what you want to accomplish.
That allows us to determine whether private instruction is appropriate—or whether you'll get more training and better value from one of our scheduled courses.
We don't want to sell you private-training hours when a class would serve you better.
Want to Earn Your Colorado Motorcycle Endorsement?
If your primary goal is earning your endorsement, a scheduled course is usually the most efficient and cost-effective path.
New rider, limited experience, or haven't ridden in several years?
→ 2-Day Beginner Rider Course — $400
Currently riding and already confident with clutch, throttle, shifting, braking and motorcycle control?
→ 1-Day Experienced Rider Course — $275
Private lessons do not allow us to bypass the required curriculum or training hours for a Colorado motorcycle license waiver.
