Our Courses
At Shift Happens Motorcycle Rider Training in Denver, we offer motorcycle classes for riders of all levels. Whether you’re new to riding or coming back after a break, our certified instructors will help you build confidence and ride safely.
Our popular Beginner RiderCourse costs $350 and is perfect for new riders. You’ll learn the basics of riding and how to earn your Colorado motorcycle endorsement. The course includes a 5-hour online eCourse plus hands-on riding practice. No experience is needed, and motorcycles are provided.
If you already know how to ride, our One-Day License Waiver Course costs $250, it includes a 4-hour online eCourse followed by hands on instruction. This is a quick and efficient way to get your endorsement. You can bring your own motorcycle and gear—or borrow a bike from us—complete the course and skip the testing at the DMV.
We also offer private lessons for personalized instruction and corporate training for businesses looking to enhance employee safety and rider proficiency. Whether you're preparing for your motorcycle endorsement or looking to take your riding to the next level, our expert instructors are here to guide you every step of the way.

Basic Rider Course
$350 per Rider
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic Rider Course (BRC) is the perfect starting point for new riders looking to learn the fundamentals of motorcycle operation and safety.
BRC2 License Waiver Course
$250 per Rider
The BRC2 License Waiver Course is a one-day, hands-on motorcycle training program designed for riders with some riding experience.
Private Training
$50 per hour
At Shift Happens Motorcycle Training, we offer private lessons for riders who prefer a personalized, one-on-one learning experience.

As of January 1, 2025, the “M” endorsement is required by law.

14 is the minimum age to enroll in class.

Your endorsement card is good for 180 calendar days after class is complete. After that, you would have to take the full class again.

No, our school provides a motorcycle for each student for the field portion of class.

Yes, as long as the bike is insured and passes an on-site safety inspection by one of our instructors. Please be prepared to show up a little early to allow time for the inspection and please bring proof of insurance.
